Line-by-line source finder
Paste an AI response.
We cite every line.
LM Arena does not summarize the text and hunt for a few generic references. It reads the response in order, line by line, statement by statement, and looks up supporting URLs for each piece of information.
How it works
From paste to dossier in four steps
-
Paste the response
Drop the full AI output into the manuscript editor. Original line breaks are preserved — each line becomes its own inspection unit.
-
Extract claims
Substantive factual lines are identified and cited. Filler and transitions are skipped. Long lines are split into individual sentences.
-
Search & verify
Each claim is searched across multiple providers. Sources are scored for relevance, and an AI or heuristic engine assigns a fact-check verdict.
-
Review the dossier
Every line appears in a folio card with its verdict, confidence, sources, and stance. Filter, copy footnotes, or save for later.
Features
Everything you need to verify AI output
-
Line-by-line inspection
Every non-empty line is examined in original order. Nothing is reduced to a summary or digest.
-
Manuscript editor
Ruled-paper textarea with an italic line-number gutter, live line and character counters, and an optional title field.
-
Smart claim extraction
Classifies each line as fact or context. Long factual lines are split into sentences so every claim is searched independently.
-
Multi-provider search
Wikipedia, DuckDuckGo, Google News RSS, and SerpAPI — with trusted-domain filtering and search caching.
-
Dual fact-check engines
AI-powered verification via OpenAI-compatible models, plus a heuristic keyword matcher as a fallback. Each verdict shows its method.
-
Source stance detection
Every source is labeled as supporting, contradicting, or neutral — with a relevance overlap score and provider attribution.
-
Live progress streaming
Claims are processed in parallel with a real-time progress bar. Results stream into the dossier as each line completes.
-
Filterable dossier
Click tally pills to filter by verdict or source status. Copy all footnotes to clipboard with one click.
-
Analysis history
Every inspection is saved with the original text, extracted claims, and found sources. Browse up to 80 past analyses.
-
Re-run on edited text
Open a saved analysis, edit the AI response inline, and re-run the full citation and fact-check pipeline.
-
API status panel
Live diagnostics for every search provider — active, error, fallback, or missing key — with sample results and config hints.
-
Fact-check summary
Aggregate roll-up verdict with a plain-English explanation: supported, partially supported, contradicted, mixed, or unverifiable.
Search providers
Four backends, one pipeline
Each claim is queried across multiple sources. Results are deduplicated, scored, and ranked by relevance to the original statement.
- Wikipedia Free encyclopedia API
- DuckDuckGo Privacy-focused web search
- Google News RSS fallback feed
- SerpAPI Primary or fallback mode

Each factual line receives a verdict with a confidence percentage and a written explanation of the finding.
